THE ORIGIN OF THE

The Munay-Ki Rites are based on initiation practices of the shamans of the Andes and the Amazon and were brought to the West by Dr. Alberto Villoldo, a medical anthropologist initiated with the high shamans of Peru. Today, together with his wife, Marcela Lobos, they dedicate themselves to giving these rites and initiating the people who feel the call.

Guardian of the Day

It initiates us into a lineage of healers who bring health and harmony to a community by activating and feeding its altars. The elements (earth, water, wind, fire, space) are honored and balanced with prayers and intention for life to flow in sacred order. This lineage brings a great awareness of the soft and receptive qualities of life, healing and strengthening our relationship with the feminine.

Rite of the Womb

It is a healing and a blessing that connects us to a lineage of women who have freed themselves from suffering. This lineage wants us to remember that “the Womb is not a place to store fear or pain; the womb is to create and give birth to life”.  The womb must be a pure vessel, as it will carry it to future generations.

Both began the Munay-Ki initiations in 2015 on a spiritual journey to the mountains of Medellín in Colombia with Malieokalani Urrutia. “Since then I have been able to feel the presence of the spiritual lineage of the guardians of Earth and Heaven and I have seen how my life has evolved taking greater commitment and leadership in my community, always honoring the sacred Life on Earth and the Universe.” Maria Milagros.

“Since I was little I have felt a great connection with the natural and wild world. In those spaces is where I have found my greatest growth and freedom. I have made it my life mission to share nature, create spaces of connection with her and work for the conservation and regeneration of the natural world and all living beings.” Laura Tellez

The Munay-Ki consists of 10 rites, which you can then give to others once you have received the initiation and activation. You will live a profound experience that will help you evolve in all areas of your life and you will learn about the fascinating culture of the guardians of the ancestral wisdom of Peru. You will also feel a transformation in your light energy field.

Laura has extensive experience in environmental and field education. Laura has worked with various non-profit organizations and government agencies. Her work has spread from Panama to Alaska. She has worked with thousands of students and educators in the classroom and in the field. Together, they have explored environmental problems and solutions.

Laura has a B.S. in Environmental Sciences. She has an M.S. in Leadership and Ecological Education. She also has an occupational endorsement in sustainable energy. When she is not working, Laura enjoys meditation practices and spending time outdoors and in nature.

Mother, artist and spiritual channel that helps women and men in rebirthing themselves spiritually. During 20 years she worked in the creative industries in the USA and in Spain. In 2002, after a deep experience of spiritual awakening, she began to train in holistic healing techniques. Maria has developed as a facilitator of women’s circle, womb healing, ancestral healing and ancestral ceremonies. She teaches a shamanic medicine wheel of transformation.
