A natural therapy for the health, empowerment and well-being of women
Vaginal steaming is an age-old remedy still practiced in many cultures around the world. After a few celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow discovered it it’s been in the news in the US. Everyday more and more women are hearing about this practice and this are a few reasons why:
- Significantly reduces discomfort, bloating and exhaustion associated with monthly cycles.
- Decrease menstrual flow as well as reduce dark purple or brown blood at the onset or end of menses.
- Regulate irregular or absent menstrual cycles.
- Increase fertility.
- Speed healing and tone the reproductive system after birth.
- Treat uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, uterine weakness and uterine prolapse.
- Assist with the healing of hemorrhoids.
- Treat chronic vaginal/yeast infections, and maintain healthy odor.
- Relieve symptoms of menopause.
Vaginal Steaming is very easy for any woman to do at home. For years I did it without the use of a chair, until one day I discovered it was a great idea to build my own chair and offer it to women, that is how Gina came about in November 2017.
In June of 2018 I decided to sign for a certification with Steamy Chick, who is recognized nationwide for working with this technique with more than 700 women obtaining wonderful results.
Another well known practitioner and teacher is Dr. Rosita Arvigo, who has been learning with medicine man and women in Belize for more than 30 years.
According to Dr. Arvigo, the tissues of the vagina are exceptionally porous and absorbent, and the warmth of the steam works to soften and open them. When the herbs are placed in the hot water, their medicinal properties, including volatile oils, are released and carried to the surface of your skin, and to the inside of the vagina, where they are absorbed into the bloodstream and, ultimately, into to the uterus.

The medicinal herbal steam increases circulation, thins mucus, and cleanses the entire reproductive system, allowing it to shed unnecessary membranes and buildup. In doing so, we support the uterus to function at its best, thus reducing the amount of work it has to do, and therefore your discomfort.
There are an untold number of herbs that are non toxic that can be used, but following is a list of the most common used. We are happy to offer you organic herbs and blends. We source them only from the best organic, sustainable farms. We are currently working with Mother Earth Miami urban farm, owned and operated by women farmers.
